This training is only open to U.S. state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges.

On November 14, the Center for Cybercrime Studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice is offering a training on their Internet of Things database and how law enforcement can obtain access for investigative purposes.

Consumer Internet of Things Device Database Training Description: This training will focus on the Center for Cybercrime Studies Consumer IoT Device Database. Participants will learn how to access the database through the National White Collar Crime Center, what information is held within the database, and how this information can be of use in the context of criminal investigations. The goal of this presentation and project is to help law enforcement understand what evidence may be contained within IoT devices, how to access that evidence and use it in criminal investigations.

This free training is funded by the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance.
